A glimpse into the key awards achieved at the 34^th Rotaract District Assembly 

“Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.”

RI year 2023-24 of the Rotaract Club of University Alumni was a stellar year for the club. This exceptional Rotaract year is marked by numerous achievements and recognitions. Even though all the members of the club have their own overly tight schedules and frequent academic deadlines, they always stand up for Rotaract symbolizing their passion into service. This is undoubtedly what led us to greatness. 

Thus, the club’s commitment to making a difference has been acknowledged with a plethora of awards at the 34^th Rotaract District Assembly. Some notable projects that won recognitions are as follows.

• LMSV – Bronze Award for the Most Outstanding Initiative in the Rotary Family 
• Compagnia – Bronze Award for the Most Outstanding Inter-Zonal Initiative 
• Arogyam – Silver Award for the most outstanding Cluster project 

Besides, the club was also awarded with the Gold Distinction for Rotaract District Citation which further signifies the club’s overall performance.                                             

Individual Accolades

Beyond the club’s overall accomplishments, several members have been recognized for their outstanding contributions:

• Rtr. Dilumaji Senevirathne was honoured with the Spirit of Service Award
• Rtr. IPP Emalka Gunathilaka was named President of the Month for the month of June
• Rtr. Bhagya Ranasinghe, Rtr. Duleetha Sandaruwan, and Rtr. PP Sanara Gamage received Recognition Awards for their exceptional service to the Rotaract District 3220 Sri Lanka & Maldives

The Rotaract Club of University Alumni has not only excelled in terms of awards but has also made a significant impact through its projects and initiatives. The club’s success is a result of the combined efforts of its members, who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, teamwork, and dedication. As the club moves forward, it is poised to continue making a positive difference in the community and inspiring others through its service.
