While we are dealing with uncertainty and adapting to the new reality in a crazy rhythm, there’s one thing we could say for sure; that is ‘The New Normal’ has changed the corporate demands on hiring and recruitment quite a lot.
The ordinary skill set that we all thought would work to get us a job does not seem to be valid at all.
Therefore, the Rotaract Club of University Alumni and the Rotaract Club of Excellence along with Interact Clubs of Ananda College, Colombo North, Gothami Balika Vidyalaya and Nalanda College jointly organized the Project Pathfinder.

We had a panel of professionals on board with us, who educated the participants how to prepare themselves to face interviews confidently.
The event commenced on 03rd of November 2020 from 06.15 PM – 07.30 PM via Zoom Platform. The event had 2 sessions each conducted by two panelists having 30 minutes time allocation for each.

Rtn. Dinali Dandeniya, an expertise motivational speaker, corporate trainer and a life coach, discussed on the ten most in-demand skills in the new normal.

How to score at the new virtual interview context was addressed by Rtn. Aashiq Aminuddin, a professional with diverse expertise on career coaching, motivational speaking and counselling.
Part 01
Part 02
We were thrilled that more than 170 participants joined The Project Pathfinder and we were able to make a positive impact on them.
